Fault Found is a browser game about investigating fictional automotive faults and verifying repairs.
1. Contact
Contact support@playfaultfound.com for game or account support. The Privacy Policy provides operator and privacy details.
2. Fictional scenarios
Measurements, diagrams, faults, limits, prices and procedures belong to the game’s scenarios. They are simplified for play and learning. A score is not a professional qualification or a diagnosis of a real vehicle.
For real repairs, use the vehicle manufacturer’s current information, suitable equipment and applicable safety procedures. Check any simulated reading or instruction before considering its relevance to a real vehicle.
3. Accounts and younger viewers
You must be aged 16 or over to use an independent account. If you are 16–17, obtain parent or guardian authorisation where applicable law requires it. Answer the website’s age declaration truthfully.
Younger viewers can watch an adult aged 18 or over demonstrate the game from the adult’s own account. The adult must control the session. Do not create child profiles or enter a younger viewer’s name, email or other personal details in the account or feedback.
Use an email address you are authorised to access. Keep login codes private and sign out on shared devices. Your display name can be a nickname.
4. Saved progress
Cloud saving requires a working connection. Check the account save status before switching devices. Closing the game with unsynchronised changes may leave them only in that browser; return to the same browser to retry uploading them.
Clearing site data can remove local settings and unsynchronised progress. Sign-out and account deletion are different actions. Deletion requests can be sent to privacy@playfaultfound.com without signing in.
5. Fair use
Do not access another player’s records, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, impersonate others or submit unlawful or abusive material. Report a security issue privately through the contact address.
6. Availability and changes
The game may change as cases and features are developed. Maintenance and technical failures can interrupt access or saving. Material changes affecting accounts or progress will be explained where practical. The game does not promise uninterrupted availability.
7. Free access and possible future content
The current seven cases are free. Blurred future cases are previews, not a purchase or a promise of a release date. No payment is collected through those previews.
If paid content is introduced, its price, purchase terms and applicable consumer information will be provided before purchase.
8. Rights and limits
Permission to play does not transfer ownership of the game or its assets. Applicable third-party licence notices continue to apply. These terms do not remove consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Questions and requests
Contact support@playfaultfound.com for game or account support, and privacy@playfaultfound.com for privacy questions and requests. Signed-in players can report game issues through Profile → Send feedback. Include a useful description and avoid unnecessary personal information.
